: This is the first of two concept designs for this East London home. The client asked for two concept options, op 1 - demolish the existing extension and create a side and rear extension, op 2 - show what could be done within the existing extension curtilage and more artistic license to tweak the existing ground floor layout. The height-change at the rear needed to be considered in order to preserve the outlook over the rear green space and also be considerate to the neighbour's outlook over the same amenity.

This proposal looks to introduce a clean and modern aesthetic that references the existing home and terrace, for both scale and palette.

: This is the second of two concept designs for this East London home. The client asked for two concept options, op 1 - explore how a quirky compact extension could enhance their home and op 2 - show what could be done within the existing curtilage and more artistic license to tweak the existing ground floor layout.

This proposal looks to reclad and rebrand the exterior and exaggerate the high ceilings and new full-height opening, by applying tiles above the proposed rear opening.

This home also has a side-ally bay window (quite rare within London's Vicky-terrace housing stock from our experience) we hope to tile the bay window to reference the works at the rear of the home.

: This is the second of two concept designs for this unique home. Situated in the Shoreham-by-sea conservation area, this home has unique proportions and slightly decorative/gothic features on the exterior.

This proposal looks to bring the kitchen into the center of the home and create limbs off the kitchen for all the ancillary areas. We look to increase lines of sight in the home to avoid the kitchen feeling too hunkered-back from the garden.

: Soho Farmhouse: Phase 1. For Soho House, Sam worked on the concept/planning/detail design stages of the 1/2/3 bedroom cabins.

A nook was allocated in each bedroom to host a bathtub. Each tub had a view of the surrounding water features. Some cabins also had a balcony tub too!

These spaces have received great feedback from guests and continue to be enjoyed by members and the public.

This proposal looks to add a playful rear extension to the existing kitchen/dining space. The rear elevation almost looks like a child's sketch of a house!

We are looking to apply recognisable materials with a funky application. We believe a compact extension can pull-off finishes, with more character and merit.

: There's been huge progress this month at this Hove residence. The rear elevation of this street looks more Balearic than Elizabethan! We reworked the existing balcony into a terrace with a glazed partition on one side to bring light into the side extension below. We benefitted from the scale and proportions of this home and created something with strong angles, taller features and high ceilings. The approved material palette aims to suit the street's unique style and the seaside setting. More photos to come so stay tuned.

: This is the first of two concept designs for this unique home. Situated in the Shoreham-by-sea conservation area, this home has unique proportions and slightly decorative/gothic features on the exterior.

This proposal looks to reference the stacking tiles seen by the soffits of the home and on the feature chimneys. We have created a terracotta-rendered upside-down plinth for a roof! We hope to tie the more modernist extension geometry with the existing home by taking some visual/material references and exaggerating them for the proposed areas.
